May i start serving you?....

Wah, what a hectic day!! Started work at about 9am-no not the actual work where you get paid-
It was in my college's restaurant, call the L' escoffier.
Today was different, because i wasn't the restaurant manager. So i became the server,(turun pangkat). So here i was taking orders from my NEW resaurant manager. The work begins!! Each one to their respective jobs, and i was cleaning the water goblets, plus the high ball glass(water goblet is glasses where you fill water, and HBG is glasses use for mocktails and soft drinks) cleaning 10 of those would be a piece of cake, but having to clean 44 water goblets till it is spotless is CRUELTY!!
No choice but to do, its call team work, where everyone has their own job.Soon after everything was cleaned, we started to set the tables.-you may ask"whats so fancy and special about table settings?" well let me brief u about how the French does it!! SUper detail one!!
Everything must be in line with the opposite ones, example when i put the plate, cutlerries, glass. Each one 4 to a table, i have to check with the opposite glass, to measure the straightness of it. Hard to imagine? Picture's on its way.

Done that!! here comes the hardest of all, serving the guess. Those long waited for their food. These people started pouring in like water over the shores. OMG sudden what use to be the empty restaurant was filled to the brim!
Here i was, serving for of them, and i started presenting the menu,it was so crappy!~! Try pronouncing this-poisson saute meuniere servi avec pommes cheteau et le'gumes frais- Bommastic man. I was trying so hard that my sweat came down like great drops of blood!!(Sarcastically) After all those came the heavy part, i had to carry not one but 8 plates, not plastic ok, clay.(i think) very heavy. After that my left hand was practically useless!!

But i thank God for today, without Him i would have just screwed up everything, because of Jesus, i got a good comment from my lecturer. THanks

Whoa, professional work. Wow, I wouldn't have thought you would want to work at a restaurant. Yea, you build massive arm strength just carrying plates alone -.-" at least that's what I've heard ^_^ Best wishes in what you're doing.
