Las carretas

Which litterally means the wagon...If my memory serves me right.

But it is the name of a mexican restaurant here in Taipan Subang. About 15 minutes walk from where i live. This is the place where i am currently doing now second industrial training, which will last for 2 months.

Now when we talk about working in the kitchen, hmm what normally comes to mind is cooking, preparing dishes. Things to do with food, but to my surprise..(mind it was a huge surprise) I had to start off with cleaning the toilet, swiping and mopping the floor, and also cleaning up dishes, pots and pans, cutleries, and taking out the rubbish. Don't get me wrong, i'm speaking not with a tone of frustration or regret, but with humbleness. WHy? because as i see it, only 2 words to fully describe this whole experience, "humble beginning" It truly is..

I mean let me ask you a question, all you bloggers...how often do you do house chores, let alone in a rstaurant? Hahaha, i wouldn't be surprise if anyone if don't even know how to wash...kidding..(hmm who wants me as her husband? i can cook also) Hahha...My manager always reminds me of why i am doing what i am doing right now, his purpose was not to torture of bully me..tho sometimes it can be torturous *believe me*. He told me that when he started working in this industry, he started where i am now..and He was a graduate from the SWISS..He has more than 10 years of experience in this industry and what he wants is that i grab every knowledge and detail i possibly can now..

I kinda enjoy what i'm doing, but i'm settling for the lowest now, i'll aiming for the top..staying as a steward is not an option.. hahaha..next week i'll begin my work in the cold area..so that time it will be real action in the kitchen..yea man!!!!

A'ite, got to run now..wanna take a nap..and resume work later....
