The wheather here in subang is really unpredictable..seriously, one minute you get a whole lot of sunshine, and another u notice that the night comes real fast and its only 3pm..geez!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last saturday night, i was invited by my hometown/church buddies for their youth bbq party in kelana jaya. Its was fun, i got to meet up with them and another old friend who is engage..cool. Though i don't know everyone there it was susre cosy, because these people are so warm and friendly, introducing themselve to me and such...
But the highlight of that night was really the makaning, but rather it was after the whole party thing, Mark, my fellwo sitiawanian invited me for a game of basketball with his church mates. The weird part is this, it was like already 11pm...
As we were on our way to the basketball court the rain started, *damn potong steam wei* but it was just drizzling so it was still ok...and when we arrived there, there was just 3 of us at first so we got hold of a ball and started playing on the wet court (obviously it was raining quite heavily before we got there) about 15 minutes later, the others arrived.
Just when the 2 teams were form to play a game, and just when the rain seems to deminished...*splam!!* the rain got heavier and heavier... man potong steam again..but we played on..
But that night what was going on in my mind when i was playing ball with them *especially my 2 sitiawanians* besides the sheer fun was the memories of forgotten years back in sitiawan. Where the basketball culture in church still existed, and we were such ball-freaks that we even played when the rain literally blurs our vision of the hoop..haha, I love those moments...It was fun to see our moving abilities limited by the slippery floor and the many times we fall flat on the floor just because we wanna show off *haha* ..How fond those memories were..
I miss those times, miss the times when i played from 4pm til 8pm..then got a whole lot of nagging from mom...I wish i could relive those days...I guess when i was playing that saturday nite in the pouring rain, there was this feeling and thought of home, the imaginary scene of sitiawan wesley.....
PS: Yo u guys back in sitiwan, please la revive the basketball culture and bring back the hey-days of basketball man...teach the young...-BE a MAN-
