brute awakening...good bye my friend

I was brutally awaken from my evening nap this afternoon by a phone call from my friend Joshua. With a sad and low tone telling me....that our friend from high school passed away just 10mins ago..

It hit me like a tonne of bricks, i couldn't believe my ears!! How could this possibly be? Just yesterday he was awake in the hospital and now, he's gone. I regret not meeting him for the past 3 years.

I remembered those hey days,
That old ragged school,
That school we so loved.

I remembered those trees
Where a group of us
would sit and chat.

I remembered that chickyness
You would have
teasing people.

I remembered those times
where we tease you
coz your dad was the disciplinary teacher

I remembered that smile
how you responded
to our teasing.

We will always remember you
