is to be saved from the condemnation and punishment to man's sin that deprives us a place in heaven.
an individual that receives salvation from Christ is a soul that is "reborned"..and receives "eternal life"
salvation can be taken away if one keeps on sinning while not willing to repent from their sins.

to be "reclaimed" "salvaged" or "rescued"?
(for Christians:) to be saved from the punishment of sin?
to take rubbish and make it precious again?
