Doulos

I finally got the chance to step on board the doulos ship, that i have dreamt of for years since teenhood. The experience, the feelings can't be explained, i was so excited that i call chu and told her. I always have this thought of one day being on board and serving there, tho is it not a profitable job, but i bet it would the most satisfying one.
My respect and admiration goes out to all the screw of doulos, for their courage and willings to give up so many things in life to join in and serve God in this manner. Mind you, when one decide to join doulos, he/she must pay a certain amount according to the packages rather than getting paid to work...now that takes a lot of courage and faith in God to do, what more some even brought their whole family.
I had a chance to tour the inside of the ship, from the cabins of the screw to the engine rooms..it was definitely one of the most priceless experience and once in a life time opportunity i had. I hope that one day i will myself be onboard this historical ship. Oh ya when you step onboard the doulos, you are officially no more on malaysian ground, but on malta's ground..international ground.
