Day2

Pheww...another day has ended, second day of work...it was tiring but i learn much and gain some experience, i guess the most valuable experience that i've gain thus far is the attitude and character that i need to survive in this industry..it is no easy thing, i have thoughts of ending it, but i know i must continue, to not give up when facing situations such as this, i get tired physically and mentally. I thank God for friends who has stood beside me, friends like christine, allison, elizabeth and tzern. Thanks guys...

I've learn how to cook, and i realise that the ingredients used here are much simple compare to what i've learn in college, where we need to debone, fillet, and do much of the dishes from basic where as, now all i need to do is to get the raw food from the butchery, everything pre-cut and wrap well, ready to cook. I believe this is due to the fact that it is an a lar carte service, where it is base on an order-cook basis, not booking. Because of this, the kitchen staff has to be fast, oh i thought there was gonna be more than 10 cooks in one shift, but believe it or not, there is only 6. In there main kitchen(where i am station) It is seperated into 2 sides, one is western cooking another is malay cuisine.
Both have superb chefs, i never thought malay food can taste so good, and they don't use ajinamoto. COOL huh? I've learn how to prepare fish & chips..Ya i know, its simple..well there is always a first time.
Staff there are friendly, willing to teach, aspecially one malay guy name farzeek tan..sounds chinese..but in that kitchen, i'm the only chinese for all 3 shifts..at first i thought it was going to be hard to fit it..but as i put what i've learn into practice and that is to show these people respect, they in turn shows me respect!! as it is said in the bible "Do unto others what you want others do to you"..

7hours 15 mins of standing as worn me out these 2 days..so guys i'll continue to keep u up to date soon..tomorrow's shift's at 7am...till then God Bless

Hey man, look, my sister's okay. She's still a great person. She's just on her own journey to look for truth. I know it's been spoon fed to her, but she's definitely not falling for the spoon feeding anymore. In my moral standards, and yours and most other CHristians that we know, she wouldn't be the best of person, but she still have the right heart.

She definitely have changed a lot. For me, I honestly think it's not for the better. But here's the deal, just pray for her and keep her in mind. I know your passion for God and I know you want to see the world change. Well, here's one that is clear across the world that you could pray for. Thank a lot man. Means a lot to me. I still love her for who she is. I just pray she come back clear headed.
