Fishing

AH, fishing.... today was my first time in many years that i actually hold a fishing rod and went fishing! The feeling? Awesome!!
How come all of a sudden go fishing? all you peeps who knows me might ask? Well it was yesterday, at the basketball court when i jokingly propose to mark that we go fishing, along with June, and then june took it seriously, and so ya that was how it started. We departed from my house about 7.45am this morning, got there about 8.15 or so.
We started walking to the side of the beach, and onto the rocks, freaky i almost fell(don't laugh)! Finally after about 2-3 minutes of walking on the rock, we arrived at our spot for fishing.Actually we are not allowed to fish near the beach, thats why we had to walk all the way to the rocks, because that area doesn't belong to the resort(i think) By the way, the we includes me,mark, ming shu, and june. Kristy bale out on us!! You owe us one fish Kristy!!
So, here we are, ready to fish, out we took the bate, which is a sotong, we cut to smaller pieces and then hook it onto the hook. All in all we had 3 rods,it was my second time fishing, and i was still pretty much dumb about it..Mark thought me how to throw the rod, and i did, but instead of the nillon string going straight it went side ways and it got tangle up with ming shu's rod haha.
It took us sometime to actually caught some fishes, none the less we did. it wasn't me but ming shu and mark caught them, i almost did, yea almost! The first one got away with my bate, and the second one was a small octopus, but it too got away. Sad.
Then again, i've learn something from this trip today, patience, if there is no patience you can never it "almost" catch a fish. I also realise the creation of our Lord, the nature and its content. Just beautiful, i hope that i could have another opportunity like this again.

I'll stop here now, too tired i need rest. Ciao

Hehehe, don't worry, I only fished once too, and it wasn't too much of an experience. It was out by the dock behind my house and was just learning a little about throwing and hanging out in the evening.
Patience is indeed something to you want for fishing, although I've got friends who fish all the time but have very little patience... I guess it's what they like to do that changes them, not what they want to do.
